STEELTOWN MURDERS

I was brought on early to help Sarah develop the musical language, writing suites to brief and making field recordings of metal sounds to build into the metallic music landscape of Port Talbot. We were also lucky enough to have the opportunity to record for a day with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, so I wrote a handful of suites of general material to be integrated into the score and orchestrated some of the sketches I had composed earlier in the process to record on the day. I then orchestrated Sarah's orchestral cues and conducted the recording session, communicating Sarah's notes to the players and fixing problems as they arose. The series was broadcast in May 2023 to positive critical reception and is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
